Answermostly found in shallow bays along the coast line, mosly found at the bottom most horseshoe crabs live on the coast of sand bars or just the reegular beach. in the united states you can see hermit crabs in long island, florida, and california.

A horse shoe crab lives in sea water. They can survive a wide range of water temperatures. If the water gets below 55* F and gets to cold, the horseshoe crab will bury itself in the mud and sand.
