Yes--in the 1950s and 1960s, for sure, Elmers sold Mint Bubblets (peppermint) and Fruit Bubblets (cherry, orange, lemon, and lime). They were delicious. They don't make them anymore, unfortunately.
Closest thing to the Mint Bubblets that I know of is now made by King Leo. I don't know of anyone making the fruit flavored ones.
