Why does coke with water melt ice faster than juice and milk?

Water has no pollutants or extra chemicals with lower freezing point to cause it's freezing process to slow. Coke has many chemicals with lower freezing point then regular water. Juice doesn't have the chemicals(most of the time) but it has fruit, the fruit has a lower freezing point then water so therefore it lowers the overall freezing point.

Why does water freeze before juice?

Water freezes at a higher temperature than juice because it has a lower sugar content, which lowers its freezing point. Juice contains more sugar and other dissolved substances, which lower its freezing point and cause it to remain liquid at colder temperatures compared to water.

What juice melts faster then water?

Grape juice melts faster than water because it has a lower freezing point due to its sugar content. The sugar in the grape juice lowers the freezing point, causing it to melt more quickly than regular water.

What is the freezing point of apple juice in degrees Fahrenheit?

Apple juice is essentially a solution of water and sugar. Solutions of water and sugar freeze at slightly below the freezing point of pure water (0 C). Standard references put this solution's freezing point at -1.67 C.

Why would cranberry juice freeze before lemon juice?

The acids in lemon juice are much more active than any of the acids in cranberry juice resulting in lemon juice's lower freezing point.

What is the freezing point of Cranberry juice?

Orange Juice freezes at 0 degrees celsius:P

Does water or juice freeze faster?

Nothing freezes "faster", they need different temperatures to freeze: even if you keep water at 2 degrees celsius for months, it won't freeze! However, since the melting point is the same as the freezing point, I'd have to say the answer to which freezes more easily is water since it contains no solutes which are considered impurities. Impurities lower the melting point of a substance, and therefore lower its freezing point, making it more difficult to reach the freezing point of Orange Juice than it is to reach the freezing point of water.

What's the freezing point of orange juice?

The freezing point of orange juice is about -1.7 C. It is the same as the freezing point of apple juice and mango juice.

Freezing point.

At freezing point particles of fruit juice in the liquids become solid during this change of state can you predict how the attraction between the particles in the juice will change?

As the fruit juice particles transition from liquid to solid at freezing point, the attraction between particles will increase and become stronger. This is because the particles will become more organized and move closer together in a regular pattern, creating a more stable structure.
