Ground rice is from the rice grain. Semolina is from the wheat grain. Semolina is the one that has gluten.
The question is sorta confusing. Rice Semolina would the same as Rice flour but maybe made from a darker rice. Rice by itself is gluten free. However if ANY kind of wheat is involved (durum wheat is used for semolina type flour) then it would not be gluten free. Remember, wheat is wheat no matter what type and it will have gluten.
corn wheat and rice are all a type of crop grown by farmers.

Major food crops such as corn wheat and rice are staples
Corn, rice, and wheat are the three major crops. Other more "minor" crops include potatoes, carrots, turnip, barley, oats, rye, etc.
Semolina is a kind of wheat used mainly for macaroni products. If the child is not allergic to wheat, he or she should be able to eat it with no problems. The product should be cooked soft (not limp), however, and mashed well, with just tiny lumps. As part of a healthy diet, it fills the same place as bread, rice, potatoes, or other starch.
The most important crop would be wheat, followed by rice, corn and soybean.

No, gluten free pasta is made of corn flour and/or rice flour neither of which contain gluten instead of the durum wheat flour and?or semolina wheat flour both of which contain gluten (present in all wheat based products).
