The past tense of cookie- how about a stale cookie? LOL They used to rule the world with a iron chocolate chunk! Forcing Their sugar into our horrible lives. But then we made that big hand that picks up the cookies, just like in the commercials. Cast Iron. Cast Iron can be "seasoned" which creates a "non"-stick coating while cast Aluminum cannot. I have used both cast Iron and cast Aluminum; the rosettes made with the Aluminum irons never release as well as rosettes made using the cast Iron. Given how delicate rosettes are after frying and how HOT as well; I have never had the same success rate using the aluminum irons.
