Nutella is a Hazelnut and chocolate spread (Kind of like peanut butter but in a chocolate form) It's more common in Europe. Nutella is a chocolate spread with a nutty flavor from Hazelnuts. You spread it on bread or rolls.
Chocolate and Hazelnut. But if you are talking about the order of predominance, the first two ingredients in the ingredient statement are Sugar and Modified Palm Oil. So Nutella contains more (by weight) sugar or palm oil than hazelnuts or chocolate. See Related Links for the ingredient statement.

Nutella is not ideal for people with diabetes due to its high sugar content. A typical serving of Nutella (about 2 tablespoons) contains around 21 grams of sugar, which can cause a significant spike in blood glucose levels. For people with diabetes, managing blood sugar levels is crucial, and consuming foods high in sugar can make this more difficult. If someone with diabetes wants to enjoy Nutella occasionally, it should be done in moderation and preferably as part of a meal that includes protein, fiber, and healthy fats to help slow the absorption of sugar. Additionally, there are sugar-free or lower-sugar alternatives available that might be more suitable. It's always best to consult a healthcare provider or a dietitian for personalized advice.
Peanut butter, even the brands which contain added sugar and salt, is far better for you than Nutella, which is extremely high in sugar. In fact, Nutella's main ingredient is sugar, followed by fat. It contains around 13 per cent hazelnuts, far less nut content than any peanut butter, which contains 80 to 90 per cent or more of peanuts. Nutella also contains a little cocoa powder and skimmed milk powder, though not sufficient to allow the product to be called chocolate cream. It's marketed in some places as hazelnut cream, though it contains no cream. Along with sugar-heavy breakfast cereals, Nutella is one of the least nutritionally-valuable products with a marketing base oriented towards children and, by progression, also bought as an adult snack. Nutella is also very expensive per serving compared with, say, a bar of genuine hazelnut chocolate. You are paying hugely for advertising costs, to keep you brand-oriented towards the product.
Nutella is good and it won't do anything if you eat a little bit every once in a while. But if you eat too much, you can gain weight, and it isn't good for you. So if you don't eat it way too much, you'll be fine.
Nutella was created in 1949.
