No, tropical fish live in a different region then goldfish and therefore need different food. Tropical fish live in the tropics (howls of amazement) and goldfish live in cold and temperate areas.

Yes, fish are used to living in the ocean or some other body of water where food is scarce so they will eat anything that you put in the water even if it is bad for them so they will definitely eat goldfish food. You can feed them goldfish flakes, pellets, or any other fish food.

Yes, I keep both guppies and goldfish in my aquarium. I feed them both tropical or goldfish flakes. They will eat them both! Goldfish will usually consume any fish food.

No, that is a bad idea waiting to happen, goldfish are cold water fish; guppies are warm water fish. You cannot mix the two without causing their health to deteriorate. Also they have different nutrient requirements and mixing the two would make feeding them different diets very hard if not impossible. Lastly since guppies are so much smaller than goldfish they are in danger of being bullied/stressed out because of the goldfish.

Goldfish will eat guppy food but it is not the correct food for them. Goldfish food is for goldfish and Guppy food is for guppies. Isn't that amazing? I am always baffled by people who want to feed the wrong food to creatures when the correct food is readily available. It makes no sense whatsoever.

No. Some fish are vegetarians, others are insectivores, and still others are carnivores. The goldfish is an omnivore and so the commercially available food is specifically made for them
