That is a decision that each person needs to make on their own. I'm not going to pretend that aquariums arent damaging and wasteful; they are. They are a frivolity, and not a nessessity, the waste energy, and produce wastes such as plastic. They take wild animals from their native habitats, sometimes resulting in habitat descruction and reduction of the wild population. They are however, a lot of fun. Its up to you to decide if it is right or wrong for you to keep an aquarium.
