Honey can usually be substituted for syrup in recipes, however, when baking, the ingredients sometimes need to be very exact for the "chemistry" of the cooking process to work correctly. Honey may have more moisture than syrup does. You might have to just try it to see how it works in the recipe you have.

∙ 13y agoYes you can but it will be darker and not as sweet as Golden Syrup.
If it's for a topping, then try a bit first. If it's for bakery, you may need to add more sugar to give enough rise.

no but you can use a mix of cream and sugar to substitute
yes black treacle is molasses.
There shouldn't be a problem with that substitution.
Golden syrup is made from sugar cane and has a light caramel flavor, while honey is produced by bees from flower nectar and has a more complex taste. They can be used interchangeably in recipes, but honey is usually sweeter than golden syrup. Honey also contains trace amounts of vitamins and minerals, while golden syrup is mostly sugar.

Molasses is a dark, sweet syrup produced from sugar cane. When I was a little boy, a favorite treat was a hot buttered biscuit, with a little molasses poured over it.
Regular corn syrup and Golden corn syrup are both sweeteners and it is not recommended to give them to horses as it can cause a 'sugar overload' and possibly trigger a bout of laminitis, or colic. If you need to sweeten a horses feed you could use a tiny teaspoon full of either of the corn syrups, but molasses is more commonly used. Honey is a good alternative, again at about a teaspoon full or less.
No, molasses is a thick syrup that is a by-product from processing sugar from sugar beets or sugarcane. Maple syrup is made from the sap of maple trees that has been boiled down. Both are quite tasty :-)
maple syrup
I'd use honey instead.
