∙ 11y agoThere are some anecdotal accounts that people have had success in eliminating lice by soaking their hair in mouthwash for an hour, followed by a vinegar rinse. The downside is that afterward your head's going to smell like Jaegermeister gone bad.
Personally, I'd just go to the pharmacy and buy an over-the-counter lice remedy. Be sure and use the comb as well, since the shampoo alone will kill the lice but won't necessarily remove the eggs (I think the comb is actually probably the important part, and I'd use a lice comb even if you decide to go the mouthwash and vinegar route).
