cooked lentil soup is perfect to freeze, but stock it too long. All frozen food should be labelled so that you know when to eat it. Generally speaking frozen lentil soup should be eaten within 6 months

You can freeze cooked lentils. Lentils can become mushy when frozen, but they are still good for soup and sauces.
