You can literally freeze anything you want to and it will last you long after the date written on the package. I do it all the time and am still alive ;-)
Flan can be frozen for up to two months. When thawed, it can be refrigerated for up to two weeks. Best when served within one week. If made for one day it should be kept on the chilled side if set on a table.
If the meat was frozen but now it isn't, I would call it thawed.
