If the baby food is in a sealed bottle or other container still in good condition, then it could take many years before the food in the container "goes off". That is of course if the food has been properly stored, preferably in a cool, dark, dry cupboard.
If it has been standing in the sun for years, then it is not a good idea to give it to the baby unless you are desperate.
On the other hand, if you mean that you left an open baby food bottle, can, or jar for a day or two, or for several days in the fridge, then do not feed it to a baby. If you want to take a chance with your own health, or that of a pet dog perhaps, then go ahead, but don't experiment on the child.

It depends on if your one year old is sick or not. If the baby is sick then you could give it some babby tylenol and if the baby is not sick then the baby might just be teething.
To make a baby sick you can expose your baby to people that are sick. Bringing the baby around people who have been sick exposes they smaller immune system and most likely the baby will catch the illness.
The average cost of 9 months of baby food is about $400 dollars
