If a child is never given limits or told "no", then the child may very well grow up to be greedy. Greed is defined as "a selfish & excessive desire for more of something than is necessary". If a child is not taught limits, as an adult may turn to crime (theft, robbery, etc.) in order to satisfy unchecked greed.
