Are female betas as colorful as males?

why you should have pretty betas!!!well some females come in colors and some are just plain white but they don't have more then 1 color unless its white and something like red , blue , gray , and many other colors.if ur thinking about breeeding betas then u need to pick the male beta with the biggest bubble nest and the female with the prettyest color , i did that and my female keeps layin eggs and my male keeps makin a bubble nest and i have tons of baby betas! oh and the point of choosein a female with the prettyest color is so the babys turn out pretty so u can sell them and people will want them more and the point of the male having the biggest bubble nest is so if ur female is doin wut mines doin , [laying eggs non stop or most of the time], then you male will have a bubble nest already made!!!

Answerit depends. i breed them and there are lots that are pretty and ugly.Even some males are ugly! The only difference is the shape of their heads and their tails. Males have big-flowy gorgous tails and i think pointier heads. Hmmm.....

I've had females, and they are prettier than males, because their colors are brighter, and their tails longer.

Females are prettier, though males are quite dashing, as well.
