1 oz of mid shelf to premium vodka (absolute works nicely) .5 oz of orange liqueur (Cointreau works great) .5 oz lime juice (too much for me so I use about an 1/8 oz) Splash of cranberry Mix all ingredients in cocktail shaker and serve in martini glass. Enjoy!

A traditional Cosmopolitan cocktail is made with 2 parts lemon vodka to one part triple sec along with three parts cranberry juice and the juice from half a lime. Cointreau may be used to replace the triple sec giving it an increased citrus taste.
