Unless the number of Koi is meant to be the number of people within that person's family, then nothing. As I always say, a lot of tattoos are meant as decoration solely, and many don't have "meanings" per se. It could simply be that 9 is the person's favorite number, it was meant to fill in the space on the arm, etc.
Aquarium fish prices vary wildly depending on the type of fish. Typically however, most freswhater tropicals will be in the $2-8 range, and most marine fish are in the $20-50 range. However, there are many many exceptions to this, and aquarium fish can cost upwards of $2000 if they are rare and wild caught, or a new form of koi, etc. Some koi can sell for over $100000 USD per fish.
$1 per fish.
Not if you have a big enough space and your fish aren't agressive. For freshwater fish the rule is 1 inch of fish per gallon.
From numerous websites, I've seen answers that range from 50 gallons, 100 gallons and as much as 1000 liters (260+ gallons)! I use the 100 gallons per koi estimate and have had no problems for the past 4 years of having my pond. I have ten koi in a 1000 gallon pond and a second 1500 gallon pond that is connected with a stream that has 14 koi. Two waterfall boxes, one skimmer and two 3600 gallon pumps running it. PH is always around 7.2 and haven't had any diseases, etc occur in the 4 years.
No, unless you want the catfish to eat all your koi/goldfish--catfish grow fast and they will eat anything, including your other fish.I have Blue Channel Catfish from about 1 inch two years ago, now 14 inches mixed in with both large and baby Koi. The Catfish eats the Koi food and interacts with them like nothing. I have never lost a fish. I think the key is getting a catfish when they are young and they can adapt, they're mostly bottom feeders and won't harm your Koi based on my experience. Make sure they start small though. No! the catfish will eat your other fish.
The space a fish needs depends on its species and size. In general, a good rule of thumb is to provide each fish with at least one gallon of water per inch of its length. It's important to research the specific requirements of the fish you are keeping to ensure they have enough space to thrive.
about half a fish unless there fat then buy the a whole fish
i bought milk fish last week ,almost 4 dollar for per kilo. 2 dollar for LB.
Koi breed once a year around spring time when the temperature changes. There are many factors that determines the amount of eggs a koi will produce. Diet or the fish's state of health can affect it. For a koi fish in good health and approximate figure is about 45,000 per pound of fish. Don't worry, the other koi fish will eat most of these eggs. for more info please visit: http://forum.californiawaterscapes.com
It costs about $100,000 per pound to send something to space.
Quite often, unless you buy a kit, aquariums only come with the bare basics. You will need to purchase a filter, an air pump for a bubble wand or stone, food, water conditioner, aquarium salt, a heater, an aquarium thermometer, air lines, and filter media. Fishkeeping can be an expensive hobby depending on the type of fish you choose to keep. Goldfish for example need 20 gallons for the first fish, and 10 gallons for each additional goldfish you add - this does not include single tailed goldfish which require much more space (comet or common), and Koi need at least 100 gallons PER fish.
