The Ocellaris clown fish is a species of clown fish that is also known as a "False Percula," after its resemblance to the rarer Percula Clownfish. It is a very popular species for the saltwater aquarium and due to its tolerance of dead food and peaceful temperament is ideal for the beginner. It is orange with white bands and grows to about 7 cm long. Ideally it should be kept with an anemone to allow it to behave naturally. It can be kept singly or in pairs. Nemo (from the blockbuster "Finding Nemo") was an Ocellaris clown.
Clownfish live in sea anemone because they are benefited by the sea anemone. The sea anemone are also benefited by this relationship. This is called mutualism. The clownfish are the only fish in the sea that are not stung by the sea anemone's long tentacles. Clownfish eat other fish leftover from the anemone. Anemone on the other hand are benefited because they get better water circulation from the anemone swimming around.
Clown fish and the anemone both do favors for each other. The anemone provides shelter for the clown fish and the fish cleans it in turn i guess. In that case i always say research and don't be lazy.

Clownfish do not migrate long distances like some other species of fish. They usually stay within their home reef or anemone where they have established territories. However, some individuals may move short distances to find food or to seek out a new anemone for shelter.
There are about 50 different species of clown fish, not just one. The one you are probably referring to is the False Percula, Amphiprion Ocellaris. That was the fish pictured in Finding Nemo. That fish is one of the easier fish to raise in a saltwater aquarium; they only reach 2-3 inches in aquariums, (5-8 centimeters).Among the other species, the largest of them is the Maroon Clownfish - Premnas biaculeatus. The female of this species can get about 6 inches long. All other species are generally between 1 and 5 inches long at maturity.
Clownfish can be anywhere from 3.9 to 7.1 inches long.
About 2 and ahlf INCHES.
Well, really, it depends on how much they eat, obviously, just like a human. But normally, 3 to 5 pounds when they're fully grown.
No Clown fish are good with guppies although it is possible to keep clown loaches (Botia macrocantha) and Guppies together for a while. Don't forget though that Botias are shoaling fish so they should be kept in groups. They also grow to around 14inches long so need a large tank.
