otters don't usually swim in waters with sharks, but if a shark were to see an otter then it would go up and see if it's food, just like it would for a seal or any other swimming fish-like creature. The shark would definitely come up to the otter if the otter was injured and bleeding, since sharks can smell blood from a very far distance away. So yes, if an otter were to encounter a shark (mostly only a great white), it has a good chance of becoming the shark's next meal!
no
not exactly. some sharks will take bites and kill the otters but spit them out because they do not taste good.
sea otters and sharks
Sea otters are eaten by orcas (killer whales.)
Yes a sea otter will eat a shark more often than a shark will eat it. Since otters have sharp teeth they can turn around while being chase by a shark and eat it. Otters and whales will eat sharks and they eat plants and algae which make them omnivores. That is why they are the top predators in the ocean food chain.
Bull sharks will eat sea otters and anything else they can catch. These sharks not only live in the ocean, they have also been found far up rivers, in fresh water, and have been known to attack humans.
Sea urchins, abalone, snails, scallops, mussels, crab and fish. They dine by floating on their backs and often use stones to crack open the shells of their meal. + they also eat Justin O's trees because they are extremely nutritious for the sea otters kidney

Oil harms sea otters......if it gets into its fur. The sea otters prey are cats, white sharks, and orcas.
Otters are also prey to brown bears, sea lions, and bald eagles.
