Freshwater crabs can be aggressive and may attack betta fish, especially if they are small. It is not recommended to keep them together in the same bowl to prevent any harm to the betta fish. They have different care requirements and tank setups.

Betta fish are best as a solitary fish and are not compatible with goldfish.
If you put a Crab with a Betta I can almost guarantee the crab will rip chunks out of the Bettas fins first and end up by killing and eating the Betta.
no i put my veiltail red betta a male of course in with a rainbow shark and a variety of a bunch of fish i have 2 bala sharks 5 cherry barbs 6 tiger barbs a rainbow shark a pleco and a betta in with them i have had many fish in with bettas the only one they ever went after was the crab! it killed it :'(
Any dead creature in the water will putrefy and the resultant putrefaction will kill any fish in that water. So yes the dead crab will kill the Betta eventually.
the betta fish is a very beautiful fish but maybe put them in a seperate bowl for awhile.
You can try to put Guppy fish in with your Betta fish. That would be one of the only fish that i would put in with my Betta fish. I say that because i have a Betta male and he is OKAY with guppies. the first guppy i put in his died to to getting picked on by him but the others did not, so just give him another chance if you decide to get guppies. Hope i helped!
No...betta fish are usually aggressive and might kill the angelfish.

Bettas are dumb as rocks. If you put another betta, any other anabantid like a gourami, or any long-finned fish in with a betta, the betta will fight it because he will think it's another betta. If you put a short-finned fish in with your betta, they'll live together peacefully.
it depends how big the hermit crab is or the fish bowl
