The reason is that a while back somebody had a bunch of reproductions of old currency printed up as "Americana" souvenirs. One of the specific bills chosen to reproduce was an 1834 ten dollar note from Philadelphia. You almost certainly have one of those, which are much more common than the real ten dollar notes ever were. It's worth a small amount as a souvenir, but not much.
