I worked for Emerson for 16 yrs. very good company and sad what happened. anyway the pension plan is with cna institutional markets and the phone number to see if you qualify is 1-800-304-3454. you had to be vested before you could qualify for benefits about 6 yrs i think. i was divorced so i had my husbands name taken off. i started receiving my pension when i turned 60 since that's when you are eligible. i wasn't going to wait until i was 65 because who knows where i would be and no one gets the money. hope i helped.
This depends on the contract rates that have been worked out between the agency and the hospital. Usually, there are a number of charges...charges depend on the title of the employee (i.e. RN, LVN, CNA, EMT, etc.), the specialty (i.e. ICU, Telemetry, L&D, etc.) The agency I work with charges the hospitals approximately $55 to $60 per hour for a specialty RN, $50-$55 for a Med-Surg RN, $30 for an LVN, and $20 for a CNA and/or EMT. Remember, the nurses pay comes out of that amount as well, so if the agency charges $60 per hour and the nurse is paid $40 per hour, then the only profit to the agency is $20 per hour. for more info. visit http://nursesbiz.com
