Letters from hell seems to be another internet fad, however, this one is an absurd "Christian" tactic to scare kids into believing in Jesus! It takes many different forms and all are either absurd or repulsive. It's sort of comic book religion; very maudlin and very desperate. Of course, you can check it all out on YouTube!

Answer: There's also a book by Valdemar Adolph Thisted available from Amazon. There's what appears to be an original ("Unknown Binding - 1885") as well as more recent reprints, one with a preface by George MacDonald.
