In the Shakespearean play 'Macbeth', the characters included mortal and supernatural beings. Among the supernaturals were witches. The supervisor of the witches was Hecate, who gave her exact position description as 'mistress of your charms' and 'close contriver of all harms' [Act 3 Scene 5 Lines 6-7]. Her employees were the three witches whom Macbeth [c. 1014-August 15, 1057] called the Weird Sisters [Act 3 Scene 5 Line 133; Act 4 Scene 1 Line 136].
They plot mischief against Macbeth using charms spells and prophecies their predictions prompt him to murder duncan to order the death of banquo and his sons and to blindly believe in his own immortality . the play leaves the witches unclear true nature we don't know if they make their prophecies come true or where they get their knowledge from.

In Shakespeare's play "Macbeth," the witches are supernatural beings who predict Macbeth's rise to power and eventual downfall. They are often referred to as the "weird sisters" and play a significant role in manipulating Macbeth's actions through their prophecies and influence.
If it had not been for Lady Macbeth, Duncan would not have been murdered. In Act 1 Scene 7, Macbeth says to her, "We will proceed no further in this business. He hath honoured me of late, and I have won golden opinions of all sorts of people which would be worn in their newest gloss not cast aside so soon." In other words, Macbeth was ready to back out. She was the one who persuaded him, using emotional arm-twisting, to carry out the murder. She deserves at least half of the blame.
They tell Macbeth the future, or his "fate". They influence him to rush his fate to become king when they tell him that he will become king. Later in the play they influence him to kill macduff's family by telling him to "beware macduff" and they also influence Macbeth to think of himself as invincible because they tell him "noone of woman born" can hurt him.
The witches in Macbeth refer to themselves as the "weird sisters."

The witches only gave Macbeth prophecies. It was his decision to do so after Lady Macbeth persuaded him. Although the witches' intentions was probably to cause this murder, the witches did not make Macbeth muder Duncan.

No, the witches are proclaiming and predicting that Macbeth will be king and they are praising Macbeth.

Lady Macbeth echoes the words of the witches when she says "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!". This echoes the witches' prophecy that Macbeth will become king.
Banquo and Macbeth. And the other witches, of course.
I think that Macbeth was at first not as "worried" about the witches and their curses as then on in the play he finds out that every thing that the witches has been tellin him are true.
