The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come was the most frightening spirit to Scrooge, as it showed him a bleak future and the consequences of his actions if he did not change his ways. This silent and cloaked figure represented death and the finality of one's choices.

It appears all three had their own individual effect on the old man. However, we see more changes in Scrooge when he was with the Ghost of Christmas Present than any other. He acknowledges the third spirit and tells him to lead on and show him what could happen because here he sees most of the errors of his life
He made Scrooge see what it was like to be lonely, happy and then why his Beloved Belle broke their engagement. By taking Scrooge across his earliy years the Ghost make him see that what has happened is in the past and cannot be changed. This leading to the presnt and what then to the future which if Scrooge continues to learn the moral story from the ghost will allow him to make the changes tto his and others lives
