Sense and Sensibility was set in some time around 1805 to 1811.

We do not have dates on the settings of Jane Austen's books, except to say she was writing about people of her own time. Sense and Sensibility was published in 1811, and since Jane Austen was a very careful writer who rewrote and edited her work extensively, we can guess that the work was first envisioned years before that.

"Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen takes place primarily in rural England, focusing on various country estates and towns such as Norland Park, Barton Cottage, and Delaford. It captures the social dynamics and cultural norms of early 19th-century England.

The settings for Sense and Sensibility were all fictional. The first is Norland, an estate in Sussex. The Dashwood girls moved to Barton Cottage, which is described as being not far from Exeter, in Devonshire. They went to London, and visited Cleveland, the Palmers estate in Somersetshire, not farm from Willoughby's estate, and back to Barton.
