And from the beginning his name was Robin Longstride who met Sir Robert Loxley (A Knight and a good friend of King Richard) dying in the Forrest from an ambush of the French. Sir Robert Loxley begs Robin to take his sword and retrieve it do his father Sir Walter Loxley of Nottingham. By doing so Robin meets up with Sir Walter Loxley and they come to an understanding that Sir Walter Loxley would tell Robin about his histroy and that Robin would act if he was Sir Robert Loxley so Sir Walter Loxley and Lady Marion Loxley wouldn't lose their land.
