Riis' goal was to bring to light the conditions of the poor living in the tenements and slums of New York City.
One of the goals of Jacob Riis's book "How the Other Half Lives" was to expose the poor living conditions of immigrants in New York City tenements and to advocate for social reform to improve their living standards. He aimed to raise awareness about the harsh realities faced by the urban poor and to inspire change in policies and practices that perpetuated their suffering.

To show well off Americans what it was like to live in a slum, and encourage people to help.

There are three sections, or "books", in Breaking Dawn. Book One - Bella (from Bella's POV) Book Two - Jacob (from Jacob's POV) Book Three - Bella (returns to Bella's POV) Hope this helps! :)
Yes. Jacob is one of the main characters in the book. Taylor Lautner will still play him, too.
edward is the looser and Jacob is the smart one
Jacob is in Breaking Dawn a fair bit, but there is a lot of him in his wolf form. The book itself is divided into three books: Book one- Bella (the story from Bella's point of veiw), Book two- Jacob (From Jacob's point of veiw) and book three- Bella (Again from Bella's point of veiw.). A lot happens in Breaking Dawn (I wont give it away) but Bella and Jacob remain friends at the end.
Book one Bella, book two Jacob, and back two Bella
breaking dawn the book 1 is Bella book 2 is Jacob and book 3 is Bella again =) awesome book!
