Fiction is a genre of literature that includes stories, characters, and events that are created by the author's imagination rather than being based on real-life events or people. It allows readers to be transported to different worlds, perspectives, and experiences.

Fiction is defined as any event(s) which have not actually occurred in reality or can not be historically substantiated by archaeological, paleontological, or anthropological evidence.

The essence of fiction is human imagination.

There are many genres of fiction, including Science Fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, slice-of-life fiction, romance fiction, and more. The characteristics of fiction are usually the appearance and development of a plot, characterization (or the development of characters' lives, pasts, and idiosyncraticies), setting, dialogue (what characters "say"), and theme or style (what the story is "about" or how it is written).

There are several names that describe pieces of fiction by length, including novels, novellas, short stories, and flash fiction (these are in descending order of length).

Each genre of fiction has its own characteristics, and certain pieces of fiction are geared to certain audiences. these audiences may include women, children, teenagers, men, or any combination of these... Fiction is a very versatile aspect of literature.

True Fiction is a style of writing in which a fictional stance is taken on real events which the author has witnessed through no more than two degrees of separation.

The style of writing was first popularized by American author and storyteller Frank C. Matthews with his novel Respect the Jux (2010).

Fiction happens when the two things is rubbed. For example, the rocks. Rocks could make fire right? So, when you rub the two rocks, there would be fiction.

That answer isn't real. Neither is fiction.
