A perspective in writing refers to the point of view from which a story is told. It can be first person (narrated by a character in the story), second person (using "you" to directly address the reader), or third person (narrated by someone outside the story). The choice of perspective can greatly impact the reader's experience of a narrative.
Beacuse someone told him it was raining cats and dogs
history got its name because its made up of two words "his" and "story" which basically means someone telling a factual story of what happened in the past of someone elses story which has already be told.
An authoritative historical narrative is usually a nonfiction story told by someone who was there at the event they are writing about. However it could also be a story told by a historian written in the first person.
If someone says "the story applies to you" they mean that the story they told is similar to something they see in your life, and they think the lesson of the story is a lesson you could learn.
A biography is a life story written by someone other than the subject, while an autobiography is a life story written by the person whose story is being told.
