He says that not even the great Tom Sawyer could have thought of a plan like that.
A high five.
He befriends Jim, a runaway slave as they travel down the Mississippi. Huck Finn is Caucasian, i believe, so back in the setting of the story, almost no racism was directed at him. I hope that's it. Also, if you're looking for a good quote to show how Huck overcomes racism, look towards the end of the book, where Huck is trying to decide if he'll go to hell for trying to help Jim. He finally decides he would rather go to hell than abandon Jim. This is the emotional high point of the book.

Critics attacked "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" for its use of racial stereotypes, offensive language, and its portrayal of African American characters. Some critics also criticized the novel's moral ambiguity and questioned its underlying messages about race and society.
In "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," the character Captain Isaiah Sellers earns $235 a month as a steamboat captain. This amount is considered substantial and contributes to his high standing in society.
Nearly all of the Grangerford clan is killed in a feud in Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. In chapters seventeen and eighteen, Huck is separated from Jim. He ends up spending time with the Grangerfords, a family embroiled in a feud with a nearby, rival family, the Shepherdsons. The Grangerfords include Mrs. Grangerford and Colonel Grangerford, his sons, Bob and Tom, his daughters, Caroline and Sophia, and the youngest boy, Buck. Before Huck meets the family, one daughter, Emmeline had died of natural causes, but three sons had been killed.Buck explains to Huck how a number of people have been killed in the feud, including Buck's fourteen-year-old cousin, Bud, just earlier that year. He claims a Shepherdson was also killed earlier in the year.Miss Sophia runs off to marry one of the Shepherdsons, and the families start battling. Huck meets up with Buck and Buck's cousin, Joe, by the river. Buck says that the Shepherdsons had ambushed and killed his father, the Colonel, and his brothers, Bob and Tom, earlier in the day. Huck watches from high in a tree as Buck and Joe are gunned down trying to escape by swimming in the river. You can listen to an interesting and free audio rendition of chapters seventeen and eighteen at the link below.

"Tom Sawyer" was banned for containing racial slurs and derogatory language towards African Americans, Native Americans, and others. Some critics argue that these portrayals contribute to negative stereotypes and attitudes, making the book inappropriate for young readers.
Rachel, Finn and Kurt got kicked off Glee because they were getting too old for the show. The cast of Glee need to look like they are in High School, so obviously Ryan Murphy decided that they looked too old. Finn is actually 29 so he is a bit old for High School. Do not despair though. The winners of the Glee Project will get some episodes in Season 3, so look out for some new faces! :)
great cars, and Americans love to compliment the swedes. most high tech weapon usa has is from Sweden. so they have to suck up a little.
That is an archaic compliment. Jim dandy is slang from the 1940's. In the 1960's you might have been called groovy instead.
