The Lottery would fall in that broad grey area that separates Science Fiction from regular fiction. It all comes down to how you define science fiction:Hard science fiction: Inclusion of the physical sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, nuclear science, astrophysics etc. In this case The Lottery would not be science fiction.Soft science fiction: Exploitation of the humanities: sociology, anthropology, Law, etc. In this case The Lottery could be considered Science Fiction.Interpolation and extrapolation. In this case The Lottery could be science fiction if it were constrained to the realm of soft science fiction."What If" Easily science fiction as no great 'forgiveness' for scientific deviations are made in this story."Utopia / Dystopia" Yes easily science fiction."Gadgetry Science Fiction" no.Science Fiction is that body of work to which we point when referencing the genera. I'm sure that there are many people who would be willing to include the Lottery as science fiction.
An organism that have a parsite thing on it on in it
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that body swapping is possible. It is a concept that is mainly found in science fiction and fantasy genres.
"Unwind" is considered science fiction because it takes place in a dystopian future where the government allows parents to have their children "unwound," or harvested for body parts. The premise of unwinding and the advanced technology required for the procedure are central elements of the science fiction genre.
A popular theme in science fiction movies is for aliens to invade the earth. Some of the best movies featuring alien invasions are The War of the Worlds, The Body Snatchers, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and The Thing.
It was probably Fantastic Voyage ~ see link below .
A Host body is a body used/infected/possessed by another creature, usually one who is incorporeal or very small in size.I found this on Doctor Who Wiki, so it may be a science fiction creature
Perhaps the closest to that category would be the Fantastic Voyage which was based on a novel by, somewhat oddly, Isaac Asimov, the well-known science fiction maven. However, Earth scientists were miniaturized and in a submarine entered the body of a gravely wounded Diplomat. My guess the UNESCO were indirect sponsors of the mission! Just science fiction of course.
