The prologue says 2 hours ("is now the two hours' traffic of our stage"). The script however, as it was printed, takes somewhat longer, closer to two hours forty minutes, uncut. This suggests that the scripts which have come down to us may be padded out from what was actually performed in Shakespeare's day.
