Initially, Scrooge does not enjoy life as he is focused solely on accumulating wealth and is known for his miserly ways. However, through the course of "A Christmas Carol," he experiences a transformation and learns to appreciate the joys of life, such as generosity, love, and human connection. By the end of the story, Scrooge finds happiness and meaning in spreading kindness and goodwill.
