Good fantasy series include J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings; C.S. Lewis's Narnia Series; Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series; anything by Ursula LeGuin or Robin Hobb or Madeleine L'Engle. If you like funny fantasy, try Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

if u like short stories- 'sum' by david eagleman- on amazon

I'd also add David Gemmell, Jasper Fforde, Mark Robson, Terry Goodkind, Ian Irvine, and R.A. Salvatore. There are plenty more fantastic authors out there; but a special mention again goes to Terry Pratchett.

You didn't specify whether you wanted a finished or unfinished story. I do however, have a recomendation for you. The story "Hearts in Our Hands" seems to be pretty decent. It only has one chapter up, but I think you should check it out. It is by Stem97.

Some popular fantasy stories on FictionPress include "The Lost Heir" by Allison Whisnant, "The Last Firebird" by M.J. Rhodes, and "The Lighthouse Chronicles" by J.G. Vayle. These stories are well-loved by readers for their engaging plots, intriguing characters, and imaginative world-building.
