The advent of the pill, the Women's Liberation Movement and the No-Fault Divorce Laws, had an overreaching effect on our society. In his book The Future of the Family, the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan pointed out that, "The biggest change (in our society) is that the family structure has come apart in the North Atlantic world, a historiacal instant that was not imaginable 40 years ago." Today, lost in this multi-faceted, ever-changing society, overwhelmed by endless choices and possibilities, we have come to favor easy, knee-jerk solutions. That's why I am here at Wikianswers, hoping to help with what concerns me most: the survival of the family.
