When you don't want to talk to somebody, tell them. Do it politely, but don't make up excuses. If you don't want to talk to a parent or sibling, you will eventually have to talk to them again, so think about that and let them know when you will be ready to talk.

Don't give in when they say they dont want to talk about it. get him/her doing lots of exercise and activities they enjoy. always ask how they are and dont be impatient. try to get them to talk to someone (a parent or counsellor of some sort). Try not to leave them on their own for too long and always be cheery.

You have to first ask them to talk. maybe write them a note and ask them if they can talk to you because you dont enjoy fighting with them. Then , maybe go out for coffee and take turns explaining your point of view and say you dont want to fight anymore because they are too important to you.
