What To DoYou could say that doing the wise thing is usually just the opposite of what you would like to do. The tendency is to step in and let that gal know that she is infringing on your territory, so to speak. Actually, that type of action is only going to make you look bad and possibly even silly to the girl and maybe even to your boyfriend, though guys usually enjoy having two girls "fighting" (hopefully, not physically) over them.

So, here is what you should do:

Remain calm. Do not approach the other girl about it at all and do not nag or gripe at your boyfriend about the other girl, not even if he spends time with her. In the end, your boyfriend is going to make the decision to stay with you or go with the other girl, and it's not you who needs to tell her to get lost. Your boyfriend has to do that.

The other girl is no doubt attempting to make herself look really good in your boyfriend's eyes, so you should do the same. It's likely that she's also being sweet to him, so you have to be sweeter. Have you ever heard the song, "Whatever you can do, I can do better?" That's the way to combat another gal who is trying to steal your boyfriend. However, that doesn't pertain to sex, at least not in my mind. Sex is a wonderful experience that should only be shared with someone you are deeply in love with when both are committed to each other. It's absolutely not something that should be used to keep or steal a boyfriend, though that other gal might attempt to lure him with it. If she does and he has sex with her, then the best thing to do is let him go and move on. Though it will hurt, a guy that is lured away like that is not worth fighting for or even crying over, though the tears will fall anyway.

Always, always think with your mind and don't act on your emotions when a gal is trying to steal your guy. Also, always act in such a way that you keep your dignity and self-respect. When it's over, he's either going to stay with you or not, and you don't want to look back in either case to how stupid you acted. That's exactly what you'll do if you act on how you feel and not on sound reasoning.

It sounds hard, I know, and it is. Have you ever heard that experience is the best teacher? Believe it! As one who made the mistakes and can look back, I can attest to the fact that no guy (or gal) is worth making yourself look silly over. If you need to, when you are alone, pretend like the girl is there and tell her whatever you would if she really was there, cry and cry some more, punch a pillow, confide in a parent or a friend (make sure the friend is trustworthy), or do other constructive things to get your feelings out. Once you are in public, whether you are around your boyfriend or the girl or not, hold your head high and be your best. Once the battle is over, whether your boyfriend is still with you or not, you'll be glad you did.
