What does don't kiss and tell mean?
"Kiss and tell" is a reference to sharing information about
someone you are in a relationship with -- either a romantic one or
a business one. If you "kiss and tell," then you are cozying up to
the person and then going behind their back to share information
with others.
It means you don't kiss someone and then tell people about it.
It's between you and them. Or, more commonly used as a way to say
you are not going to say anything about a question at hand. But
mostly used when talking about relationships/kissing/etc.
Kissing and telling isn't the nicest thing a man or woman can do
when referring to the person they spent a night with, because it
lets other people believe that things other than kissing went on.
Don't forget what you do with a man or what a man does with you, is
your business. Best to keep it that way away from prying ears and
people who will gossip about you and the person you spent the night
kissing. If you have a best friend, one you can really trust then
perhaps kissing and telling this person won't hurt anyone's
feelings, but matters of the heart are best kept to yourself.
Kiss and tell means when someone kisses someone, they go tell
someone right after. If you don't kiss and tell, it means that you
don't go blabbing to everyone after you kiss or someone kisses
you
