The truth is that, it is okay to cry! You won't be making a fool of yourself because its a big step for you and your classmates. Maybe the other kids are too young to understand your tears and they will laugh in ignorance, but at least you are capable of expressing your happiness. People express their feelings in different ways, some cry when they are happy, sad or confused and some laugh everything off. The important thing is that you should not keep your feelings bottled up.
