You don't. If you like someone else there is a bigger problem here then. When you start finding your getting wondering eye, that usually means something is lacking in the relationship. If you feel enough for this person don't let it linger and exit the relationship. In all fairness to your boyfriend you don't need to hurt him more by telling him how you feel about someone else. Look at it like this, would you want someone to tell you?

wow interesting question,well firstly don't tell ur boy friend anything as yet. If u really like this guy don't even let him know, take things slow and pay attention to this guy u like but never be suspicious around ur boyfriend. If ur boyfriend treats u well, i don't think that going with someone else would be a smart decision, but if he treats u bad then maybe this new guy, will be right for u. but on the other hand it all comes down to how u feel in ur heart

you have too let him down easy you can just come out with it, maybe just tell him that you are not *in love* with him so to speak. yes it will hurt the both of you, but lies will eat you apart. just be honest and he will understand.....well if he doesn't just run!!!

Well, thats a difficult one. There are more subtle ways that will hurt the both of you, or you can just drop the bombshell and say, "Jack! I love Ben, and have no feelings for you whatsoever! Get out of my life!" That would clearly ruin his life. If you want a subtle way to do it, find a way to make him break up with you. I really do not recommend crushing his heart, however. You can start to see each other less often and let it sort of fade out with nothing said, but that can take a little while. Or you can just talk to him. You could say, "Listen, Jack. We have been together for a while, and I really, really have liked you. I have enjoyed our relationship, but I don't think it is really going to work out." You can insert a convenient excuse for this, for example, blame it on the parents. Then you really have to apologize a bunch. Then you can go out with "Ben," but try to keep it subtle, and don't immediately start going out with him so it isn't obvious.
