This can be very frightening. Sometimes when people are abused they feel like the abuse is their fault. Sometimes they feel like if they tell someone about the abuse, it will get worse--abusers sometimes threaten those the abuse, threatening to hurt them or the ones they love if the abuser reaches out for help.
The important thing to realize is, there is help out there. Talk to a friend, family member, teacher, coach, or another person that you trust and you feel will help you find help while helping you stay safe.
This can be a difficult conversation to start, and an emotional conversation. If you think you might be too scared to begin the conversation, maybe writing a letter and giving it to the person would be the way to go. You could even stay there while they read it--or you could leave. You might say "Here, I want to tell you something and I didn't know how to, so I wrote you a letter. I'm going to go sit outside--when you're done reading it can you come out so we can talk?"
The important thing is to reach out for help. It might take a couple tries--sometimes people suck and don't listen--but keep reaching out. Find help, find safety, and begin the healing process.
