Parents should be teaching their children what is rude and what is not. They are suppose to be the role models. If a child grows up without parents then they must learn from those around them. Sometimes listening and watching to what others are doing will help one learn good manners and not to be rude. Here are a few examples of rudeness: * Interrupting someone when they are still talking without saying, 'excuse me for interrupting, but I would like to say _______________.' * Swearing. Those who swear too often show that they are unintelligent and one can express themselves without constantly swearing. * If you don't know etiquette there are websites one can go too to learn all types of etiquette used in society. * To have respect for yourself, thus respecting others around you if they are respectful to you. * Dressing appropriately for whatever social event or gathering you may be attending. Wearing dirty clothing, poor hygiene or not caring what one looks like at an event tells a lot about the characteristics of that person. One doesn't have to have expensive clothes, just clean clothes with good hygiene, hair neat, teeth cleaned, and clothing that is clean. * Being respectful to someone older than you even if you are bored with what they are saying. * If you are male and dating don't sit outside your girlfriend's house gunning the car or honking the horn ... go up to the door and get her and say hello to her parents. * If female, then learn to dress appropriately and not dress cheaply to try and appear sexy. More often than not a young person can take 'sexy' too far and reputations still mean a lot to peers about that person. * Treat your girlfriend or boyfriend with respect. Do not flirt with others of the opposite sex while around your girlfriend/boyfriend (or ever for that matter.) * Be honest, loyal and treat others as you would like them to treat you. In other words if a good friend tells you their private thoughts keep it to yourself and don't gossip about it. These are a few points on how not to be rude. For more information you can go on the website at your leisure and learn. Also remember to watch and listen to others to learn new techniques of how to manage yourself in certain situations.
