I don't like hugging either and I think it depends on the situation. You should try to find out why she doesn't like it: Is it because she doesn't like physical contact in general or does she think that it is pointless to hug each other all the time? Look at her behaviour... I for instance want to be hugged when I am sad, even though I'm not a fan of this "everyday-hugging".
