First of all: Is there a Christian way to end a friendship?
I don't think so. (And hey I am a Christian myself)
I don't really know in what for situation you are in so let me say this:
Friendship is a promise not a label (read that somewhere)
You don't have to say to your friend that you don't want to be friends anymore. That is just harsh and unnecessary. So if you have a friend and she/he really changed and you don't like her/him anymore than just talk with other people and do things with other people. She/he will get the hint after some time. If she/he doesn't and asks you about it than you could say that you just want to hang around with some other people. I think that you won't hurt him/her that much if you do it like this.
(Oh and btw the only Christian way I can think about is just not let it end in a big fight)
or if your friend is not christian and might be leading an unhealthy life, it would be good to just say that your friend-relationship is getting out of hand, you would like to be their friend as soon as they start living a better life. and remember, you need a good friend, not ones that put you down. if he/she is not a healthy part of your life, its really ok to let them go for a bit(don't think i don't know, i did it). it may be painful, but sometimes it's necessary.
bye

There is never an appropriate time to end a friendship with a friend since you might still need him in future.
Friendship is a way to help express your feeling to someone close to you
stop talking to him/her.
keep battling with it
