As we used to say in the 60's: you can look, but don't touch. If he is just ogling women, he could reduce the behavior, but may never make it all the way. However, if he is flirting and taking other women out (and so on), then you need a new deal. He has to clean up his act, or you need to examine whether your life would be better without him in the picture. Excuses and promises are not acceptable: look for the actions. The way that a wife could cope with it is 1.talking to the husband 2.calling someone in front of your husband sweetie 3.talk to a therapist 4.find out who he called sweetie and we he called her sweetie. and 5.beat the crap out of him with a golf club or any blunt object.
When a man is married and still looking for other women he is immature and does not want to fully commit to just one woman and he should have thought of that before he got married. Immaturity is when you cannot cope with every day life and get bored easily. You should get some psychiatric help to find out what drives you on to have more than one woman in your life. This does not mean you are crazy, but you should find out why you feel like this. Many people go for psychiatric counseling when they have a problem.
