Menopause can happen at any age, it is a long process and has three distinct stages. The obvious signs of: hot flashes and night sweats, depression, mood swings, dry skin and hair, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain, vaginal dryness, bone density loss, changes in libido and sexual enjoyment, occur in the middle (perimenopause) stage. The North American Menopause Society http://www.menopause.org/Consumers.aspx and Womens Health UK http://www.womens-health.co.uk/menopause.html look at this devastating, inevitable, life changing subject in a really positive way and from all perspectives. Their advice is outstanding. Please visit the sites, the subject is too vast and complex for this forum. The best support you can give is just being there and riding out the storm. And break out the vitamin B6.
Try to stay away, that is the answer that most people are giving me right now. They are too irrational to talk to and solve problems with. Try to avoid them unless you see that they are visibly in a good mood. If you do have to talk to them, lie and tell them how great they are and then quickly get away from them again.
noANOTHER ANSWER:Just from experience and i am on the depo shot and i am 31 years old. This shot can make you feel as if you are going through menopause because i get hot flashes, nausea, mild headaches, not able to sleep, constipation, bloating...I was told that i am experiencing a chemically induced menopause! If you want to talk more email me mz_officer4053@yahoo.commaybe you can tell me more about your symptoms!!
This is a personal question and I cannot tell you an exact answer. Michelle Duggar has been told by her doctor that she will not likely conceive any more children, but this does not mean that she is going through menopause. Michelle is a high-risk for pregnancy because of factors including her age, giving birth to 19 children, 2 miscarriages, and multiple C-sections. These factors also affect her likelihood of conceiving a child, which could be the reason that she is not likely to conceive. Jim Bob, Michelle, and their children often talk about "If Michelle were to have another child, then..." And since you must still have your menstrual cycle to conceive, and the Duggars still believe it is possible, then I would say no, she is not going through menopause.
Going by your age it is possible that you are starting the menopause and that your missed period is just the start of the irregularity of the menstrual cycle that is a symptom of menopause but you will need to see your doc, he/she should run a few tests for you and that will tell you what is going on.
You don't have to tell anyone. Everyone knows and assume you are going through puberty until you are almost 20yo. They will notice you getting taller, temper change, getting more female or male forms etc. It's not somehing you have to tell someone.
Try going to a therapist or find someone to talk to about it and they can help you
This is what you do... you tell her that if she is not going to change then you are going to break up with her and I guarantee that if she love you then she will change
What are you going through? You should tell someone, it will make life esier.
Only the doctor can tell based on your case but unless you have been through menopause all the way, there is a risk.
Tell your mom as soon as you get a chance. She can only help. She is going through the same thing Tell your mom as soon as you get a chance. She can only help. She is going through the same thing
If you are going through that then you are going through the same thing I am. Don't tell that person if you do or you might get into a fight. If you win she/he might tell your crush and everyone else! If you must tell someone tell your best friend but keep it a secret between her/him and you.
