lol its hard i never got a pellet gun until i hit 18 my friend got me one but if you start target practise and do some saftey courses your parents will realize your serious and if you ask them tell them you will get a pellet gun for small game hunting only and will not shoot anything illegal in your area and you will keep it unloaded and on saftey when not in use and only use flat head or dull head pellets and not sharpend ones and you will handle it with care and will be responsible by cleaning my room and putting my shoes away every day. but if they say he/she/them with think about it let them think about it do not keep asking them reapeatably every day. if you are a starter at pellet gun hunting i would recommend a airgun that is at least 700 fps for birds 900-1000 for squirrel and maybe rabit and also remember kill nothing bigger then a squirrel no fox, no eagle or hawk no turkey, no pig none of the large game stuff. hope this helped a bit
prove to your parents that you know a gun is not a toy and is to be treated with respect and handled with care like it was loaded.
ask about gun safety, ask for an explanation safety procedures. That will open the door for knowledge necessary for axcess
Honestly, you can't convince them. Either they will let you or they won't.
