When using a treadmill it is important to remember to use correct posture and a even gate. Just like running or walking anywhere else without using the correct form injuries can happen. Start the speed out at a low setting and only increase at a comfortable pace. If at anytime keeping up is difficult slow down.

doing interval work-outs. On a level of 1-10 (10 being the hardest you can push yourself) of intensity start out at about a 3 for the 1st 5 min. then go 5 for 1 min. back to 3 for 2 min. then up to 6 for a min. back to 3 for another 2 min. then to 7 etc etc until you get to a 10. then work your way back down.
