i would if u pulled any muscle in your body apply heat to the area and after a week or so you should feel better, if not go see a doctor it could be something else. Hope this helpsss :)
Well there are really many answers.. it can be for almost anything..excercising too much or you could have pulled a muscle in your arm. If you cant seem to figure it out then just ask a doctor. i think they should know. i have had this problem before. i went to the doctor and it was exactly what i thought it was. i had pulled a muscle..so try to make an appointment with your doctor and see what they say :)
The only thing you can really do is rest it. Just do what ever you can to not use the muscle very much. It normally takes about 2-4 weeks for a pulled muscle to heal. I haven't heard to many cases of a pulled muscle in the abdomen. So you might want to see a doctor and make sure its not a hernia.

It could take up to 2 months to heal fully ,with the Gluteal maximus being the biggest muscle in the body and one used most of the time. If its still hurting after 1 month see a doctor as you could have split a vain.
A pulled "groin" is actually a strained muscle in the upper thigh. Strained muscles occur when the fibers of the muscle are stretched too far. The result is a group of torn fibers, or in horrible cases, the entire muscle may tear. Usually however, it is just a small tear. If you feel that your muscle has ripped entirely, and you are in a lot of pain, PLEASE GO SEE A DOCTOR! You probably need surgery to correct this problem. If it is a minor strain, and you are not in agony, a doctor will not be able to do much for you. REST is the key! If you pulled your groin within 48hrs ago, you should be icing it as much as comfortable. After that point, gentle heat applied to the affected area before any physical activity is recommended, as this will help loosen the torn muscle. Get him to the vet, he may have done more damage than simply pulled a muscle. However, if it's just a pulled muscle, you will have to crate him for a little while to allow him to heal. Talk to your vet to see what he/she recommends and to get some pain-killer for the dog too.
You know because it hurts lol It will feel sore. If it is swollen that means it is broken but if you think it isn't broken or pulled then go to a doctor and get an x-ray because you might have chipped a bone!

You could have done one of many things. You could have pulled a muscle, sprained it, stressed a muscle or tendon, broken it, etc. The best thing you could do is to follow RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevate) and see a doctor as soon as you can.
